Agreement
By downloading or using the Dusk app you agree to these Terms of Use. If you got Dusk from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms apply between you and Dusk, and Apple’s terms apply between you and Apple. If you got Dusk from Google Play, Google Play’s terms of service also apply to your purchase.
Dusk grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, or use it to break the law.
Dusk Premium subscription
Dusk is used through Dusk Premium, a paid plan offered as a yearly auto-renewable subscription. The app shows the plan’s name, length and price before you buy. Prices are set per country by the App Store or Google Play and include any tax they collect.
Free trial. Some plans start with a free trial, shown on the purchase screen with its length. You are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. A free trial is offered once per account; any unused part of it ends when you buy another plan.
Payment and auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, or when the trial ends. A subscription auto-renews for the same length and at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. If the price changes, the store tells you first and, where the law requires it, asks for your agreement.
Cancelling. You can cancel or change your plan at any time: on iPhone in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in Dusk under Settings › Dusk Premium; on Android in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds follow their policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Google Play.
Restoring. Your plan belongs to your store account, not to a Dusk account. Use Restore purchases in the app to unlock it on a new phone with the same store account.
Not medical advice
Dusk is a sleep-habit tool for general wellness. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor. The routines, scores and explanations it shows are general information. If you have signs of a sleep disorder, such as loud snoring with breathing pauses, falling asleep while driving, or trouble sleeping most nights for months, see a clinician. Stop any step that doesn’t feel right for you. Dusk is meant for adults aged 18 and over.
AI features
If you allow them, some summaries, tips and the reading of messages you type are produced by an AI model from Anthropic, as described in the privacy policy. AI text can be wrong or incomplete. It is checked against Dusk’s own rules and never gives dosing or medical advice, but you should treat it as a suggestion, not a fact. You can turn AI features off in Settings at any time and the app keeps working with text written on your phone.
Your data
Your logs stay on your phone. What leaves it, and when, is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
The app as it is
We work to keep Dusk accurate and available, but it is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, Dusk gives no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or suited to a particular purpose, and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update the app, change or remove features, or update these terms. If a change to these terms materially affects you, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Dusk after that means you accept the new terms.
